Inspired by this post at theminimalists.com, I decided to clean up my desktop.
I cleaned up and removed the files on my desktop and I cleaned up the menubar. All that’s left now as far as icons are the battery icon and the TimeMachine icon. I don’t use Spotlight since I use Alfred (it’s awesome!) instead. (if you are a Mac user, you may be interested that Spotlight is still there and fully functional, I just changed the name of the image file so it doesn’t show up, but as you can see, there is a blank space where it once was.)
In the post by theminimalists.com, they link to a desktop background you can use but in their minimalist way is for a tiny computer screen. Click here for the 1920×1200 image I’m using.
